AppSteward monitors both your installed applications and your macOS version, alerting you when updates are available. Keep your apps and your operating system up to date, all in one place.
macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later required
AppSteward has been designed for macOS 26 (Tahoe) and hasn’t been tested on older versions. If you’re running an older macOS, it might work, but I can’t guarantee it.
Features
Knowing which of your apps are out of date is harder than it should be. AppSteward gives you a clear, complete picture — so you always know what needs attention.
AppSteward inspects every app on your Mac and checks it against the latest available version — no manual searching required.
Built specifically for macOS, AppSteward feels right at home on your Mac with a clean, familiar interface.
AppSteward tracks apps installed from anywhere — the Mac App Store, developer websites, and beyond — giving you a complete picture of what’s on your Mac.
AppSteward clearly shows what's out of date and makes updating straightforward. For Mac App Store apps, jump straight to the App Store page to update. For others, open the app or download the latest version directly — where available.
